Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-11, 2024 and is an annual observance dedicated to recognizing the contributions of educators to society. This is the perfect time to recognize our incredible teachers that have made a difference in students’ academic life.  Beverly Education Foundation’s annual “Honor a Teacher” campaign is the perfect way to celebrate and show appreciation for educators and the contributions they make to education and society. Honorees will be notified with a certificate or notecard of your wish to honor their dedication. Please take a moment to express gratitude to an educator who’s making a positive impact.

1 to 1 Learning Initiative

The Beverly Education Foundation, Inc. is committed to supporting 21st century learning skills at Beverly High School. Digital technology is this generation’s paper and pen. All school systems are challenged to find the best ways to harness digital technology and bridge the digital divide.

STEAM Initiatives

The Beverly Education Foundation supports Family, Math, and Science Nights; Science Fairs in all schools; Nature’s Classroom, Recycling and Composting in all schools, Beverly High School First Robotics Team, and the 1 to 1 Learning Initiative.  These initiatives allow students to learn STEAM by doing.

Honor a Teacher

As the Beverly Education Foundation celebrates its 27th Anniversary, we are thrilled to begin our  2024 Honor A Teacher Campaign.  At its core, Honor A Teacher acknowledges the importance of our teachers, staff, and administrators.  Their commitment and tireless efforts equip our students with knowledge and skills for tackling today’s challenges and tomorrows.  To all Donors, thank you for your continued and sustained generosity.  Remember, it is never too late to Honor A Teacher who has made a difference.

Grant Funding

The Beverly Education Foundation awards grants each Spring for projects, programs and initiatives that benefit Beverly Public Schools students, faculty and staff.  The annual grants application cycle is open from early January through mid-March with grant awards being announced in June at a Beverly School Committee meeting and via the media.  Grants are awarded for the following academic year and typically range from $500-$1,000.  For grants information, guidelines, and application, click below:
